The Start of Shark Week

One of my favorite weeks of the year, Shark Week, has returned! Rumor has it they will be introducing a new shark species and digging up history on extinct sharks, like the Megalodon. Sharks have always been intriguing to me but a 60-70 feet Megalodon, now that's crazy. If you haven't seen The Meg, I highly suggest watching it. It gives you an idea just how big these sharks were. To this day, it is the largest predator that has ever lived.

I haven't quiet figured out why Sharks intrigue me so much. Maybe it's because they have no bones or because they are descended from dinosaurs. Speaking of dinosaurs, any Land Before Time Fans out there?

I recently took a trip to Florida, where I looked up place to cage or free dive with sharks. The idea seems cool but I couldn't quiet muster up the courage. 47 Meters Down replayed in my mind, not necessarily giving the sharks a bad reputation but the idea of cage diving. They say you're more likely to be killed in a car accident than attacked by a shark.

Now, coming to you from my kitchen, Shark Tank Cheesecake, found on Delish. Yummy! See recipe below.
